Another into the fold

Welcome, welcome, welcome Alex!  Great pictures, keep them coming.  So glad to have you here.

We had a great time the other night.  Dinner at Mister Ups with Grady, Erin, Connor, Alex, Patrick, Felix, Matt and about 300 happy (read possibly overserved) Midd alums.  It was so much fun, can't wait for the next excuse to get together.  Cails, we missed you.

I'm back at Erin's after 10 days with Bauer the Saint Bernard at Phinney's.  The number here if anyone needs to reach me and my cell is out of reach is 443-8022.

I went for a great run yesterday which turned into a hike after getting lost in the woods behind Breadloaf.  I was following blue blazes for quite awhile on a trail but somehow got off and had to follow a stream.  The blog seems to be themed around Rosses who spend an awful lot of time getting lost.  Or a short amount of time getting lost and a long time getting unlost!   Eventually came out on 125 just below the Snow Bowl.  A good steady rain had freshly fallen leaves soggy and soft and muffled and you get to a point where your shoes are so wet you stop caring where you step and just enjoy the woods.

I'm thinking one more ride on the motorcycle as the weather has started turning towards the backside of fall.  We've seen a few spits of snow and deer season and Thanksgiving approach.  Grady and I head to Albany this afternoon for her return (boo hiss!!) to New York, New York but we'll probably take the car.  Hopefully we'll find the train station but chances for a wrong turn somewhere 'tween here and there are good!  Until then stay in touch.

Love you all.  Peace.  Peter
