Here's the scoop on an absentee ballot. They told me at the Bridport Town Clerk's office that you are not on the Bridport checklist (of registered voters.) You can go to www.sec.state.vt.us and register by email, I think. I'll send you an application for an absentee ballot although actually I think that may be possible by email as well. See what you can discover at that website. I'll check with my buddy Ann Webster, Middlebury Town Clerk, at choir tonight and get the last word. You would send your application for a ballot to the Clerk of whichever town you decide to register in - Bridport or Middlebury?

And Cailin, we'll get you a ballot, too. The Bridport Town Clerk seemed to think you had registered in Middlebury.
